  • Visited US AID office in San Salvador to advocate for just allocation of post-earthquake resources in rural communities.
  • Facilitated Interfaith Community Building Group delegation that participated with Las Anonas in building new houses as part of post-hurricane Mitch reconstruction.
  • Facilitated Interfaith Community Building Group delegation that participated with Las Anonas in building a new community church.
  • Organized twentieth anniversary delegation to celebrate the life and influence of martyred Archbishop Oscar Romero.
  • Developed and hosted visit of two Salvadoran guests to Philadelphia to share the triumphs and problems of their community.
  • Organized "Youth-to-Youth" Walk-a-Thon to raise funds to support youth sports and leadership training program for Las Anonas and other communities in the San Vicente region.
  • Participated in rallies to close the School of the Americas and facilitated two Salvadorans speaking to 10,000 people at Ft. Benning, GA.
  • Held press conference in El Salvador through CRIPDES, covered by major media outlets, to outline common U.S./El Salvador problems (e.g., free trade).
  • Facilitated construction delegation that participated in building a community center in La Hoya with people from Los Anonas
  • Established a youth scholarship program to fund scholarships for Los Anonas area youth to further their education through high school
